We immediately fell in love with Costa Rica and this place of power. Soon it became clear what was to come: A Refuge. A place to relax, recharge and (re)discover yourself.
The property is located 650 m above sea level in the hilly landscape on the Arenalsee - deliberately off the high-traffic tourist trails. Spread over a total area of 2.2 ha, palm trees, exotic plants and fruit trees grow in the garden. In the natural part we cherish and maintain a banana plantation, yucas, beans, corn and vegetables for our own enjoyment. Tucans, Oropendulas, Hummingbirds and other domestic birds are among our regular guests.
Our high-swinging house is equipped with an energy system and the chlorine-free spring water is additionally processed with its own system. Water is life! This is particularly noticeable when bathing in our adjoining stream in the jungle at our property. An extraordinary experience that surpasses any pool and remains unforgettable.
All around, Silent Wings is the ideal place to be with yourself, to rest, to (re)discover and unfold new things.
The bright guest rooms (a total of three) have separate entrances, private bathrooms and are furnished with a double or twin beds, wardrobe, safe and a desk with chair.
Even we have traveled a lot and have developed a feeling for the lightening effect of a friendly room design. You like to awake - which is quite ambiguous. If you stay with us, immerse yourself in a special energy field and appreciate this.

Surrounding
Our property is located on a gentle hillside on the north side of the Arenal Lake. We belong to El Aguacate, in the Tilaran district, Province Guanacaste.
The Arenal Lake is a central starting point for Monteverde, the Tenorio National Park / Rio Celeste and, La Fortuna. Spectacular in the area are the hot springs, zip lines, suspension bridges, waterfalls and rainforests, volcanoes. The surrounding area also offers hiking, windsurfing, kayak or boat tours in the surrounding area.
In the village there is a small supermarket and a restaurant known in the area. The next largest town is Nuevo Arenal, about 8 km away. There are several supermarkets, a pharmacy and a bank.
